Noun | संज्ञा

• The word which denotes a person, place, animal or things is called Noun

For Example:

• Mohan
• Boy
• Girls
• Pen
• Teacher
• Student
• Man
• Woman
• etc.

Kinds of Noun | संज्ञा के प्रकार 

• There are five kind of Noun

1. Proper Noun (व्यक्ति वाचक संज्ञा )
2. Common Noun (जातिवाचक संज्ञा)
3. Material Noun (पदार्थ वाचक संज्ञा)
4. Collective Noun ( समूह वाचक संज्ञा )
5. Abstract Noun (भाव वाचक संज्ञा )

• The words witch denotes a particular person, place, animal or thins is called proper Noun.

Example:

• Mohan
• Rohit
• Reema
• Rekha
• Sheela
• Delhi
• Mumbai
• Allahabad
• Agra

Common Noun | (जातिवाचक संज्ञा)

• the words which denotes a common person, place, animal and things is called common Noun.
• The word which denotes whole class is called common Noun.

Example

• Boy (लड़का)
• City (शहर)
• Book (किताब)
• Dog (कुत्ता)
• Terrorist (आतंकवादी)
• Theist (आस्तिक)

Material Noun | (पदार्थ वाचक संज्ञा)

• The word which denotes material is called material Noun.
• It can not be counted.
• जिन पदार्थों से दूसरी वस्तुएँ  प्रत्यक्ष रूप से बनायी जा सकती है  उन्हें material Noun करते हैं।
